Kech: Disappeared Man Released After Six Months in Detention

KECH: A young man who had been forcibly disappeared was released on Tuesday after spending six months in detention in Pakistani custody.

According to sources, the released individual has been identified as Shoakat Ali, son of Haider, a resident of Kolwah in Awaran and currently living in Apsar, Kech. He had been held in Pakistani torture cells.

Shoakat Ali was released yesterday, though authorities have not issued any official statement regarding his detention or release.
