Set your sights upon this vast expanse, a piece of Mars landed on Earth severe and completely without green life. Yet this high desert, with its dramatic golden and black mountains, is not empty. It is a colossal, unspoken storehouse of wealth. Beneath the dust of Nokundi, Chagai and Dalbandin rests a geological legacy, massive veins of Gold, Copper, Silver, Chromite, Gems and countless natural commodities. This is the land’s silent beauty a harsh, inflexible environment that holds the promise of riches so vast it attracts the hungry gaze of the world. But for the indigenous people, the owners, this richness has been the source of profound darkness. Their eyes, hands and tongues have been suppressed, bound in the shadow of plunder, as their birthright is taken openly before them.
The history of Balochistan is not written with ink, it is meticulously carved into the souls of the land, reshaped with the blood of its brave sons. It is active evidence, hammered out in the defiant fire of ultimate sacrifice.
This is sacred ground where philosophical minds and devoted souls proved they were Born to Make History. Their profound belief in liberty was translated into a physical, inflexible doctrine of resistance. Their philosophies were not merely thoughts, but a consuming fire that burned the enemy materialized and immortalized in the names that now define the struggle: Herof, Zerab, Zarpaz, Bam, Mashkaf and SOB. These acts are lasting chapters authored by those who resist fiercely for their land, their ocean and their resources.
A new, indelible chapter is now completed, written in the name of the SOB the Saddo Operational Battalion. This operation stands as a thunderous reminder for all: for the Baloch nation, for the foe and for the international community, that this vast, rich land and its resources exclusively belong to the Baloch people. It is a declaration that the nation’s rights cannot be silenced by oppression.
The newest chapter, the SOB operation, is anchored to the spirit of a legendary warrior: Saadat Baloch, alias Sado Marri.
Saadat Marri, a figure whose very core being refused to bow before the enemy, stood as an iron pillar of the resistance. His life was a long trajectory of struggle, a continuous journey of defiance that spanned generations. Through cycles of conflict and years of exile, his faith in the Baloch cause was an unbroken, unbendable force. Even as age claimed others, Sado merged his legacy with the young Sarmachars of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), his resolve untouched by the passage of time.
He is the symbolic figure of the Baloch war for freedom. His war was defined by uncompromising faith and a profound, personal philosophy: to hold the line for the land, whatever the cost. His final mission was the ultimate confirmation of this code a calculated, intentional act of self-sacrifice. Fighting alone against vast enemy forces, he secured the escape of his comrades, thereby guaranteeing that his commitment soared beyond death and made him alive forever.
The Saddo Operational Battalion (SOB) is the physical extension of that eternal spirit, a force named for the man who was a guiding pillar for the BLF. The operation’s intensity, separated from Sado’s martyrdom by a long gap, proves that his philosophy is not a mere artifact of the past, but the perennial soul of the current resistance. His absolute defiance is the strength that drove the SOB fighters, demanding permanent words be written into Baloch history.
The name SOB (ﺳﻮ ب), meaning Dawn, is not merely a tactical designation, it is a promise of light that shatters the manufactured darkness.
This Dawn is for Balochistan’s wealthiest yet most suppressed areas: Nokundi, Saindak, Chagai, Dalbandin, and Taftan. These are lands naturally bright with gold and riches, yet kept deliberately dark by the enemy to facilitate plunder. The local populace in these areas has been psychologically and physically silenced, their reality twisted as the oppressor offers meager compensation to seize their ancestral lands and wealth.
The attack on the Brigade Headquarters and the foreign compounds of the Saindak and Reko Diq projects was a deliberate, powerful detonation of hope, aimed directly at this enforced silence. The resulting heavy blast, the raw smell of cordite and the ashes and smoke painting the sky are the physical evidence of this defiant moment.
This light defines the enemy’s defeat, a declaration that their oppression has failed. The blast shattered the chains that bound the people’s hands. It violently opened their suppressed ears, and the bright glow of the detonation now shines like the first rays of dawn, lighting up their eyes.
The explosion is an alarm, a violent awakening: your resources are being taken openly in front of you.
Awake, awake! Your land is yours, to protect it, to claim it from your enemy, to rise and resist.
The success of the SOB operation began with a matchless act of courage by a daughter of the land: Fighter Zareena Rafiq, alias Tranag Maho. With her resolute action, she etched a lasting mark in the history of resistance, becoming the first female Jind Nadr (self-sacrificer) of the BLF.
In this severe, gold-dusted environment this piece of Mars Zareena was like a tulip flower born in harsh, dry land. Her sacrifice was not an ending, but the genesis of an evergreen hope for the oppressed areas.
Her bravery, her raw courage as a young woman, was the Dawn of the operation. With calm resolution that belied the fury she carried, she performed the self-sacrifice attack on the entry obstructions of the main compound. Detonating the fortress’s defenses, she turned her own life into the necessary light, paving the way for her comrades to breach the headquarters and reach the compounds of exploitation.
Zareena’s action sends a powerful message to the world: the chain of Fidayeen’s Jind Nadr now includes daughters, proving that Baloch women stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their brothers in this war. Her fire was the essential blast that broke the chains on oppressed hands, opened deafened ears, and filled eyes with the shine of absolute defiance.
The Five Pillars and Five Shining Stars
The Saddo Operational Battalion was crystallized through six souls, yet the Dawn was carried forward by five resolute sons each a pillar of the same unbowed philosophy that fueled Sado Marri. Their lives were a direct answer to the theft of the golden land, their actions a source of unforgettable pride for the dark, rich areas they died to reclaim.
Asif: The Pillar of Command and the Guiding Star
From the proud spirit of Diz Paroom, a leader emerged a tactical star ascending over the fight: Asif, alias Khalid Baloch. His philosophy, the Strategic Will, defined the fray. A meticulous mind that masterminded the long 36-hour day, he proved that liberty’s path is not blindly taken, but won by the intellect of a Sarmachar until the battle was done.
Gwahram: The Pillar of Precision
Carrying the weight of Soleer Gichak’s proud demand was Inayat Sahil, alias Gwahram Baloch, the weapon in his hand. His philosophy, Measured Defiance, was clear and finely honed the fierce art of the marksman, where no strength is postponed. He was the clarity of fire, the necessary force that guaranteed the mission’s precision.
Ustad Adil: The Pillar of Unrestrained Might
The fire of Sand-a-Sar Essai Panjgur burned bright and bold in Nabeel Ahmed, alias Ustad Adil Baloch. Like the legendary forces of the past, he fought with devastating might. His philosophy, Unrestrained Courage, stepped into the inferno’s light. He was the thunder in the final clash, his exceptional skill focused entirely on smashing the dark heart of occupation.
Istaal: The Pillar of Absolute Devotion
From a silent soul, the embodiment of honor was raised: Ghulam Jan, alias Istaal Baloch. His name, Istaal, meaning Star in Balochi, reflected his ascension. A symbolic star of the Baloch war, his philosophy of resilience was silent, absolute resolve unshakable loyalty that no onslaught could dissolve.
Janan: The Pillar of Total Commitment
He sealed the ultimate truth, the highest price to pay: Meerjan Meeral, alias Janan Baloch. His philosophy, Total Commitment, was the final sacred bond, the BLF’s guiding light reaching beyond the world. The mountains of Shor Parod felt pride, their every rock and stone resounding with the cry: You are the Dawn of the BLF!
Each pillar stands on the bedrock of maternal strength. These are the mothers whose wombs bore history, whose anthems were lessons in liberty. Their sons proved the inscription true: Born to Make History. Their memory transforms the dust of their birthplaces, from Diz Paroom to Soleer Gichak into soil hallowed by unforgettable pride.
The struggle of these brave sons and daughters is now permanently pinned in world history. The chain of these powerful operations, where every soul stands ready to break the backbone of the enemy until freedom is won, declares this final truth:
Balochistan is the land of the Baloch. You shall never oppress this nation and you shall never take this land. Their fight is a timeless, eternal song of defiance.
