Quetta; The protest camp of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), established in Quetta against enforced disappearances in Balochistan, has entered its 5991st consecutive day under the leadership of Niaz Muhammad.

Various individuals from different walks of life, including Comrade Manzoor Baloch, visited the camp and expressed solidarity with the families of the missing persons.

VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch stated that the organization has received a complaint regarding the enforced disappearance of National Democratic Party’s (NDP) Central Deputy Organizer, Salman Baloch, who was taken away by security personnel from his room at Bolan Plaza, Quetta, at around 3 a.m., along with Sahir Baloch and Dileep Das. They were subsequently moved to an unknown location.

He said that detaining Salman Baloch, Sahir Baloch and Dileep Das without presenting them before a court and keeping them forcibly disappeared is a matter of grave concern and a violation of national laws as well as citizens’ basic human rights.

Nasrullah Baloch urged the government to take immediate notice of their enforced disappearance. “If there are any allegations against them, they should be brought before the court of law; otherwise, if innocent, they must be released immediately to end the suffering of their families,” he stated.
