BLF Claims Responsibility for Attacks on Police Station in Kharan and Military Checkpost in Mand

The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks on Pakistani security forces in Balochistan, carried out on the night of June 18.

In a statement to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said that BLF fighters launched a hand grenade attack on a police station in Kharan city, resulting in injuries to police personnel and damage to the building. The grenade exploded inside the station with a loud blast. Following the attack, police opened heavy fire, but the BLF fighters successfully retreated to their secure positions without any casualties.

Major Gwahram warned the police against collaborating with the military and intelligence agencies in actions against the Baloch freedom movement, urging them to refrain from being instruments of state oppression.

In a separate operation the same night at 9:00 PM, BLF fighters attacked a Pakistani military checkpoint in Mand Gok, located in the Kech district. The outpost was targeted with rocket launchers and other heavy weapons. According to the BLF, the fighters launched the assault from close range, and the sounds of panic and distress among soldiers could be heard during the strike. At least two personnel were killed and several others injured, the statement claimed.
