Sammi Deen Baloch Re-Arrested from Court Premises, Sent to Jail for 30 Days

Karachi (Monitoring Desk): Baloch Yakjehti Committee leader Sammi Deen Baloch was re-arrested by the police from the court premises and transferred to jail for 30 days under the MPO order.

Despite the dismissal of the case against Sammi Deen Baloch and other protesters, they were re-arrested under Section 7-MPO.

Baloch Yakjehti Committee’s central deputy organizer Lala Wahab, Sammi Deen Baloch, and three other peaceful protesters were presented today before the judicial magistrate’s court located in Central Jail.

After hearing the arguments of the lawyers, the honorable court discharged all the protesters from the case. However, the police rearrested them from the court premises by filing additional charges against them.
