BLA Claims Attack on Pakistani Forces in Noshki, Says Five Personnel Killed

BLA AZAD reform command

NOSHKI, BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), has claimed responsibility for an ambush on Pakistani security forces in the Galangur area of Noshki, Balochistan.

In a statement released to the media by the group’s Reform Command Council (RCC), the BLA said the attack took place on Nov. 5 at about 2:30 p.m. near the Galangur military checkpoint on the Quetta-Taftan highway. It said five personnel were killed, including a sniper stationed at the checkpoint.

The group said its fighters targeted the vehicles while the Pakistani forces were escorting a convoy of tankers, trailers and trucks. It said the convoy was carrying resources taken from Balochistan, including from Reko Diq, Saindak and other areas.

The BLA said it would continue its struggle until the establishment of what it called a free and sovereign Baloch homeland.
