The Baloch National Movement (BNM) elected new secretaries and deputy secretaries for two of its units in the Netherlands over the weekend, the party said in statements.
In Utrecht, the Shaheed Banok Karima Unit elected Mohammad Iqbal as secretary and Abdul Wahid Baloch as deputy secretary on Sunday. Mahra Baloch, vice president of the BNM Netherlands chapter, and Zohra Baloch, the chapter’s general secretary, attended the meeting.

A day earlier, in Amsterdam, the party’s Netherlands unit chose Mahmjan Gul as secretary and Ilyas Faqeer as deputy secretary. Haleem Baloch, joint secretary of the chapter, and Bahar Baloch, its finance secretary, attended that meeting.
At both gatherings, the new office-bearers took an oath to fulfil their responsibilities, remain loyal to the Baloch National Movement (BNM) and the Baloch national liberation movement and work toward the movement’s objectives, according to the statements. The Amsterdam statement said the oath also included a pledge to make every necessary sacrifice.
