QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Five people were killed and two others injured in separate incidents in different parts of Balochistan, while the tortured body of an unidentified man was also recovered.
According to details, in Goth Piaro Khan, Zorgarh village, Usta Muhammad, armed men opened fire and killed a woman and a man before fleeing the scene. Police reached the spot after being informed, took the bodies into custody and moved them to a hospital. After the necessary legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to their families.
Meanwhile, in Dalbandin, a man shot and seriously wounded his younger brother, Muhammad Rafiq, who later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
In Ornach area of Khuzdar, two people were killed and two others injured in firing over a money dispute. The dead have been identified as Khuda Bakhsh, son of Safar Khan, and Ashfaq, son of Khuda Bakhsh. The injured include Fida Hussain, son of Khuda Bakhsh, and Zarif, son of Yar Muhammad.
Separately, the tortured and decomposed body of an unidentified man was recovered from Chhapar Tughu in Balochistan’s Kalat district. The body has been moved to the District Headquarters Hospital in Kalat for identification and the necessary legal procedures.
