KHARAN, BALOCHISTAN: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Convoy Attacked in Kharan, Casualties Reported
According to reports, armed men ambushed a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) convoy using heavy automatic weapons as it was passing near Kharan city.
Several CTD vehicles and personnel came under fire in the attack, and casualties have been reported.
It is worth noting that Baloch separatist armed groups are active in the area and have previously carried out several attacks on CTD and Pakistani forces; however, no organization has claimed responsibility for this attack so far.
