HUB, BALOCHISTAN: The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) has expressed serious concern over the enforced disappearance of Haleem Zehri, son of Abdul Qadir, demanding that authorities immediately release and produce him before his family following his detention by security forces in Allahabad Town, Hub.

According to the family, security forces raided a residential house in Allahabad Town, Hub, late at night, detaining Haleem Zehri and transferring him to an undisclosed location. Haleem Zehri originally hails from the Zehri area of Khuzdar district and had been residing in Allahabad Town, Hub, in recent days.

During the raid, security personnel also caused damage to the property before taking him into custody.

The family further stated that just one week prior to this incident, Haleem Zehri had also been detained by Pakistani security forces near Pasni, where he works as a labourer in Kuntani. He was subsequently released on that occasion. However, following his second detention, he has once again been forcibly disappeared and his current whereabouts remain completely unknown to his family.

VBMP Demands Immediate Release

Expressing serious concern over the incident, the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) has called upon senior authorities to immediately release Haleem Zehri and produce him before his family without any further delay.

The organisation said the enforced disappearance of Haleem Zehri is deeply alarming, particularly given that this is his second detention within the space of a single week, raising urgent questions over his safety, the charges against him and the lawfulness of his detention.
