Five Killed, Dozens Injured as Passenger Coach Meets Horrific Accident on M-8 Highway Near Kharan

KHARAN, BALOCHISTAN: At least five people were killed and approximately 12 others injured when a passenger coach travelling from Kharan to Larkana met with a serious accident at the Wango area on the M-8 highway, according to initial reports.

The Al-Aziz coach was en route to Larkana when it was involved in the horrific crash at Wango, a locality situated on the M-8 motorway in Balochistan.

According to initial reports, five passengers were killed on the spot while around 12 others sustained injuries of varying severity.

Rescue teams responded promptly and reached the scene immediately after the incident. The injured passengers are being shifted to nearby hospitals for emergency medical treatment, officials said.

Authorities have confirmed that further details regarding the cause of the accident and the identification of the deceased are still awaited as investigations are underway.
