
Surab/Mastung: Reports from the areas of Surab and Mastung indicate that armed groups carried out multiple coordinated attacks targeting Pakistani forces, while a blockade was also reported on the Quetta–Taftan highway.
According to details, in the Bancheh area of Surab, two vehicles belonging to Pakistani forces were targeted in a pre-planned ambush by armed individuals who used rockets and other automatic weapons. Initial reports suggest that three personnel were killed in the attack, while several others were injured.
Meanwhile, in Mastung’s Kardgap area, in Gorgina, armed individuals carried out separate attacks on two posts of Pakistani forces, targeting a grid station and a checkpoint (Kotal). These incidents occurred in quick succession, indicating multiple coordinated attacks on Pakistani forces in Balochistan.
At the same time, armed individuals associated with Baloch freedom-oriented groups reportedly set up checkpoints and established a blockade on the main Quetta–Taftan Highway. Snap checking was conducted during the blockade, and according to local sources, the road remained blocked for more than four hours.
