
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Forcibly Disappeared NDP Leaders Ghani Baloch and Sana Baloch Shifted to Huda Jail After Over a Year of Disappearance
According to source, Ghani Baloch, a central leader of the National Democratic Party (NDP) who was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from Khuzdar and Sana Baloch, who forcibly disappeared from Multan Airport, have resurfaced.
Ghani Baloch was taken off a passenger coach near Al-Qadri Hotel in Khuzdar on 25 May 2025, when personnel dressed in Frontier Corps FC uniforms took him into custody during a search of the vehicle. Similarly, Sana Baloch was taken into custody from Multan Airport on 10 August and moved to an unknown location.
Both disappeared persons are politically affiliated with the National Democratic Party. The organization held protest demonstrations and press conferences in Balochistan and other areas against their forced disappearance. Ghani Baloch’s family also protested against his disappearance, demanding his safe recovery.
According to reports, after being subjected to enforced disappearance for over a year, both individuals have now been shifted to Huda Jail. It may be noted that individuals who have previously been subjected to years of forced disappearance at the hands of Pakistani forces have also been shifted to jail in cases of various natures, including terrorism cases.
