KHUZDAR: An explosion targeting Pakistani forces has reportedly caused casualties in Zehri, Balochistan.
According to sources, the blast occurred in the Balbal, Gorg area, where a truck belonging to Pakistani forces was targeted. The explosion reportedly took place while the forces were moving in a convoy through the area.
Initial reports suggest that security personnel suffered casualties as a result of the blast; however, authorities have not yet released any official details regarding the incident.
It is noteworthy that last week, in the Karkh area of Khuzdar, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) reportedly set up checkpoints along the CPEC route and maintained control for several days.
During that period, according to sources, BLF fighters killed two personnel associated with Pakistan’s intelligence services and reportedly detained DSP Anwar Mohammad Hassani, who is said to remain in their custody. Pakistani forces were also reported to have suffered significant losses in multiple attacks during these operations.
