
QUETTA: Multiple coordinated attacks were reported on Pakistani forces in different parts of Balochistan, including Washuk, Kharan and Kalat.
In Washuk, armed men reportedly targeted a Frontier Corps post along with an adjoining Levies post located on the CPEC road in the tehsil area. Sources said the attackers managed to take control of the Levies post, disarmed the personnel present there, and seized weapons before leaving the area.
In a separate incident in Kharan, unidentified armed individuals reportedly attacked a location in the Barshonki area linked to a government-backed group led by Hafiz Mumtaz. However, no immediate details regarding casualties or the extent of damage were available.
Meanwhile, in Kalat, Pakistani forces were targeted in an ambush in the Chappar area while they were reportedly advancing in the region. Local sources reported gunfire during the incident, though further details about casualties or losses have not been confirmed.
The series of attacks has created concern in the affected areas, while no official statement has been issued by authorities regarding the incidents so far
