The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed that its fighters detained and later killed a man identified as Mirjan, son of Bhai Khan, a resident of Marap in Surab.

According to a detailed statement attributed to BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the group said that acting on intelligence from its intelligence wing, BLF fighters detained Mirjan on January 1, 2026. The detention of Mirjan confessed to working as a state informant and admitted that on December 25, 2025, he had hidden a drone chip inside a BLF organizational camp in Kalat, facilitating a drone strike in which five BLF members were killed.

The group further said that during interrogation, the informant confessed to spying for the “enemy” for the past year. BLF claimed that he stated he was acting on the instructions as the “head of the state death squad” and the Pakistani army. According to the group, Mirjan had initially approached BLF expressing a desire to join the organization and, after basic screening, was shifted to a training camp. However, BLF said he was expelled for failing to follow organizational and guerrilla discipline but was released “leniently” with a warning not to act against the movement.

The statement further said that after being released, Mirjan hid a drone chip in the training camp, and three days later, a drone attack was carried out, killing the group’s training commander, identified as Abdul Ahad alias Gazin Baloch, along with four other BLF members.

The BLF also said that video footage of the agent’s confessional statement would soon be published through its official media platform. The group reiterated that it takes responsibility for killing Mirjan, accusing him of facilitating the Kalat attack.
