Quetta: The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for attacks carried out in Sibi and Naseerabad.
In a statement, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said that last night their fighters sabotaged a railway track between Sibi and Dhadar by planting explosives, causing a blast.
The spokesperson further stated that Pakistani forces’ checkpoint near the Piru Bridge area of Naseerabad was also targeted. According to the statement, the fighters opened fire on the checkpoint and launched several grenades using a grenade launcher, which landed inside the post, resulting in casualties and material losses to the Pakistani forces.
He added that the BRG accepts responsibility for these attacks and warned that such operations would continue until what he described as the freedom of Balochistan.
