Kalat: Young Man Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces

Kalat: A young Baloch man was allegedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces in the Mangochar area of Kalat on July 18, 2025, raising fresh concerns over human rights violations in Balochistan.

According to information shared by PAANK, the human rights wing of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Wajid Baloch, son of Ghulam Ali and a resident of Dasht, Mastung, was forcibly taken into custody by personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC). Wajid Baloch is a student by profession, the organization said.

PAANK stated that the incident has been verified by the organization, adding that Wajid Baloch’s whereabouts remain unknown since his disappearance.
