QUETTA: The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has said that a man identified as Ismail Baloch, son of Elahi Bakhsh and a resident of Baghbana, Khuzdar, was forcibly disappeared and later killed extrajudicially.
In a statement issued by the organization, BYC claimed that Ismail Baloch was abducted on 18 November 2025 from the main RCD Road in Sorab by what it described as “state-backed death squad members.” According to the group, armed individuals intercepted him on the roadside, overpowered him, and took him to an unknown location. His family reportedly received no information about his whereabouts following the incident.
The BYC further stated that on 19 November 2025, Ismail Baloch’s body was recovered in the Baghbana area of Khuzdar. The organization claimed the body bore multiple bullet wounds, alleging that he had been killed while in custody.
The committee described the incident as part of a broader pattern of enforced disappearances, custodial torture, and extrajudicial killings in Balochistan.
