Quetta; The spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Major Gwahram Baloch, said in a statement issued to the media that on Tuesday, 18 November, at around 10 a.m., BLF fighters carried out an attack in the Asank Kondag area of Balgatar, Kech. According to the spokesperson, the attackers ambushed personnel providing security to a convoy of Pakistani forces and targeted them with modern and heavy weapons, causing human and material losses.
The spokesperson added that in a second operation the same night, BLF fighters targeted and destroyed a Ufone communication tower with explosives in the Bazdad Wahli Dhal area of Awaran.
He stated that the BLF claims responsibility for targeting the military presence in Balgatar and the communication network in Awaran, reiterating that their operations would continue in an organized manner until their stated objective of an independent Balochistan is achieved.
