
In the Paroom area of Panjgur district, Balochistan, a state-backed death squad opened fire on a young man, injuring him and then forcibly abducted him.
According to sources, the abducted youth has been identified as Wahab Baloch, son of Abdul Hakeem. The incident took place on October 27, when members of the death squad raided his home in Basad, opened fire, injuring him and later abducted him. There is currently no information about his condition.
Family members stated that during the raid, women and children were also harassed and subjected to severe violence.
It is noteworthy that death squads operating in Balochistan are reportedly backed by the Pakistani military and have been involved in the targeted killings of Baloch youth in recent years.
