Kech: The sit-in by families of forcibly disappeared persons continued for the second consecutive day in Baloch Abad, Mand, as protesters blocked the main highway, halting traffic and completely closing the road leading to Iran. Long queues of vehicles were reported on both sides of the route.

According to the families, Fahad son of Usman, Hamood son of Muhammad Jan and Haroon son of Muhammad were allegedly taken into custody by Pakistani security forces on October 23, after which their whereabouts remain unknown. The relatives claim that their loved ones have been detained unlawfully, and that authorities are attempting to suppress their peaceful protest for recovery.

Participants in the sit-in alleged that security personnel are preventing people from joining the protest and are harassing the families to pressure them into ending their demonstration.

The protesters warned that if the missing individuals are not brought to light immediately, the protest will intensify
