Quetta: Three alleged robbers were killed during an police encounter in the Killi Khali area of Quetta. According to police sources, the identities of the deceased could not be immediately confirmed.
Police sources stated that the incident occurred on Brewery Road, where unidentified assailants opened fire on police personnel. In retaliation, the police returned fire, killing all three suspects on the spot. One police officer was also injured during the exchange of gunfire.
The bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital for legal formalities and identification. According to police, the deceased robbers were aged between 30 and 45 years.
Police officials said that further investigation into the incident is underway and legal proceedings will be initiated once the identities of the deceased are confirmed.
