
MASTUNG: The body of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Muhammad Yousuf Reki, who was abducted a few days ago in Mastung district, has been recovered, police confirmed.
According to authorities, the body was found in the Gargina Killi area of Sherbat Khan, on the outskirts of Mastung, showing signs of gunshot wounds. The body has been transferred to Quetta for legal proceedings and further investigation.
Police said DSP Muhammad Yousuf Reki was serving as SDPO in Nushki. He was reportedly abducted along with his vehicle by unidentified armed men while traveling from Nushki to Surab, near Mastung, five days ago. Moments before the abduction, he reportedly called his wife to inform her that armed men had stopped him, after which all contact was lost. His vehicle has not yet been recovered.
The motives behind his abduction and killing remain unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
