
Kech: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for an ambush on a Pakistani paramilitary vehicle in the Mand area on Monday, resulting in the deaths of five Pakistani forces personnel and wounding two others.
BLF spokesperson Major Gwharam Baloch told media that militants staged the ambush at around 1:00 p.m. on October 20 in the area between Maher and Redig. According to the statement, the armed group opened heavy fire on a vehicle belonging to the Pakistani paramilitary detachment, killing five personnel on the spot and leaving two seriously wounded. The vehicle was heavily damaged.
The spokesperson added that shortly after the attack, helicopters arrived to evacuate the dead and wounded. He said our fighters completed the operation and withdrew safely to their secure positions.
In its statement, the BLF accepted responsibility for the Mand ambush and reiterated its vow to continue and intensify lethal attacks against occupying forces until the liberation of Balochistan.
