DERA ALLAH YAR: The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for an attack on a Pakistani police vehicle on the main highway near a cotton factory in Dera Allah Yar.

BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch told the media that fighters targeted the police vehicle with a remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED). The group said the blast caused both human casualties and material damage to the security forces.

In a statement, the BRG said it accepts responsibility for the operation and warned that such attacks would continue “until the freedom of Balochistan”, according to the group.
