Quetta: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for two separate operations in Mand and Surab, targeting Pakistani military intelligence personnel and infrastructure.
According to BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the group’s fighters launched rocket attacks on the Military Intelligence (MI) office in Soro, Mand, on the evening of October 9, destroying a bunker and causing casualties among Pakistani forces.
In a separate action, BLF fighters set up a roadblock on the Karachi–Quetta highway in Bencha, Surab, where they conducted snap checking of vehicles. One settler was reportedly detained for interrogation, while seven construction workers were later released after questioning.
The BLF reiterated its commitment to continue operations against what it called the “occupying Pakistani forces” in Balochistan.
