Pakistani military operations are underway in the Zehri and Kalat Balochistan, with troop movements on the ground and aerial support provided by helicopters.
In Khuzdar’s Zehri area, convoys of Pakistani military and paramilitary forces were seen advancing from Khuzdar city toward Zehri. Helicopter flights were reported overhead, while forces and local “death squads” were observed moving forward in the areas of Gazzan and Anjeera areas of Zehri.
Meanwhile, in Kalat’s Zawah region, clashes were reported between Pakistani forces and armed men. According to local sources, this morning, Pakistani security forces attempted to advance in the area but came under attack from fighters lying in ambush.
Authorities have not yet released any official details regarding the situation.
Last night, in Sorab and Kalat, armed men reportedly blocked the main highway for several hours, during which Customs vehicles and personnel were taken into custody.
