Former Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Khalil Baloch, shared on X that,“The killing of Zubair Baloch is a continuation of Baloch genocide. Pakistan is systematically targeting conscious youth for the ‘crime’ of raising their voices on national issues. Zubair Baloch was not only a student leader but also a fearless advocate of human rights and a defender of the oppressed voice of the Baloch nation.”
He said that during Zubair’s time in student politics, he showed a courage that will always be remembered. From the rights of Baloch students to the recovery of the disappeared persons, Zubair raised his voice at every opportunity and knew the price of speaking the truth, yet he never remained silent.
Khalil Baloch further said that today the enemy martyred Zubair Baloch in an attack on his home, but his sacrifice will always be remembered as an unforgettable chapter in the history of the Baloch struggle. “The blood of the martyr reminds us that the price of walking this thorny path of truth is the sacrifice of life. In this, the Chairman has attained honor and dignity. With utmost devotion and respect, I pay tribute to him.
