An intense armed assault was carried out on police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel in the Tota Colony area of Sui Tehsil, located in Dera Bugti district.
According to details, heavily armed assailants launched a coordinated attack using rockets and automatic weapons, targeting the police station and CTD patrol teams operating within the city limits of Sui.
The attack resulted in the deaths of three security personnel, while several others were injured. Among the wounded are the Station House Officers (SHOs) of both the police and the CTD. Their condition is reported to be critical.
Sources allege that the targeted police and CTD units were directly involved in enforced disappearances and staged encounters of unarmed civilians in the area.
