Dera Bugti: Bodies of Three Enforced Disappearance Victims Recovered

Dera Bugti: Last night, in the Pyara Colony area of Sui Tehsil, Dera Bugti district, Balochistan, the bullet-riddled bodies of three individuals who were forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces were recovered. According to local sources, the individuals were executed and their bodies dumped in the area.

The victims have been identified as Ali Baig son of Pahi Bugti, Yousaf alias Wado son of Shah Nawaz Bugti, and Zahid son of Usman Bugti. Reports state that Zahid Bugti and Yousaf alias Wado Bugti were forcibly disappeared on October 18, 2024, while Ali Baig Bugti was abducted on March 19, 2025, from Dera Bugti city. Family members and local sources claim that the individuals were detained by personnel of the Pakistani military and intelligence agency ISI, after which they went missing.

It is important to note that the extrajudicial killing of forcibly disappeared persons in staged encounters continues across Balochistan. Just a day earlier, two such individuals were reportedly killed in a similar manner in Mashkay and their bodies discarded.
