Jhao: Pakistani Forces’ Military Aggression Continues

Military operations by Pakistani forces are ongoing in various areas of Jhao, Awaran district. According to local sources, residents in Kohadu, Gazi, Daro Kochag, Narmagi, Chhibi, and Korak are being summoned to army camps and harassed by the forces.

Eyewitnesses report that the forces are not only stopping civilian vehicles but have also seized trucks carrying onions. Local drivers have been strictly instructed not to bring any goods for shopkeepers.

Sources state that four days ago, a local driver was brutally tortured by the forces and later released. Reports from Korak suggest that women and children are also facing harassment and abuse. Additionally, three to four individuals from the area have been detained and forcibly disappeared, although their identities remain unknown.

Speaking to Zrumbesh, a local resident said that the continued vehicle checks and harassment of drivers have caused immense mental stress among the public.

During this military aggression in Jhao, a young man from Koharu lost his life. In a separate incident in Chhibi, a man named Imam died of a heart attack when the forces attempted to forcibly detain his brother. The incident occurred during a confrontation between the family and the soldiers, and the arrest was not carried out. However, the stress of the situation led to Imam suffering a fatal heart attack.
