
Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch issued a statement to the media claiming responsibility for the killing of two Pakistan Air Force personnel in Chaghi on May 8, 2025.
According to the statement, BLF fighters targeted the two personnel in the Kali Dawoodi area of Chaghi at around 5 p.m. as they were returning to their camp after shopping in the market. Both were killed on the spot.
The spokesperson said the deceased were non-commissioned technicians holding the rank of corporal and were stationed at an air force radar site in Chaghi.
He identified the slain personnel as Mohammad Tahir, son of Tariq Mehmood, from Kahuta, Rawalpindi, and Mohammad Shafiq, son of Amir Khan, from Talagang.
He further stated that the fighters safely returned to their base after the operation.
The Balochistan Liberation Front has claimed responsibility for the attack and reiterated its commitment to continue targeting occupying Pakistani forces across Balochistan.
