Awaran, Balochistan – The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for setting up a checkpoint and conducting inspections on the Awaran-Mashkay road on May 4, 2025.
In a statement to the media, Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson for the BLF, said that their fighters established the checkpoint at Piranadar Kanera and conducted inspections from 12 PM to 5 PM.
During the operation, the spokesperson stated, a police team arrived in an ambulance vehicle without official weapons. The BLF fighters treated them with “great respect and kindness” and allowed them to proceed without interference.
However, a local vehicle reportedly transporting supplies for enemy forces was stopped. The supplies were confiscated and set on fire, while the vehicle owner was released after being warned.
Major Gwahram Baloch added that the BLF takes full responsibility for the checkpoint and snap-checking and urged the public to follow instructions during such operations to ensure their safety and avoid any harm caused by “enemy forces.”
