Netherlands: Forced Deportation of Afghan Refugees, PTM Protest in Front of Pakistani Embassy, BNM Activists Participated

The Hague, Netherlands – Activists of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) Netherlands Chapter participated in a protest organized by the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) in front of the Pakistani Embassy in The Hague.

During the protest, voices were raised against the oppression by the Pakistani state towards Baloch, Pashtun, and Sindhi nations, including enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings and the forced deportation of Afghan refugees.

Speakers at the protest said that Pakistan is forcefully deporting Afghan refugees without any legal process, which is a blatant violation of international human rights and refugee laws.

Representatives of the BNM expressed solidarity with other oppressed nations and vowed to raise their voices against state oppression at every forum. They strongly condemned the inhumane treatment of Afghan refugees and urged the United Nations and other international bodies to take immediate notice.
