Bolan Mail Train Halted in Jacobabad Amid Security Threats on Route to Quetta

Quetta: The Bolan Mail train, en route from Karachi to Quetta, has been halted at Jacobabad Railway Station due to a security threat alert and lack of security clearance, railway officials confirmed.

Passengers reported that they have been stranded at the station for several hours under extreme heat, causing severe discomfort, especially for women, children, and the elderly. They also complained that food and drinks at the stalls inside the station are being sold at inflated prices.

Officials from Pakistan Railways informed the media that the train cannot proceed without the necessary security clearance. If clearance is received soon, the train will be allowed to resume its journey toward Quetta. However, if clearance is not granted, authorities will arrange buses to transport all passengers to Quetta.
