In Pasni, a protest demonstration was held following the recent abduction and murder of young Sahil Gulab. A large number of participants gathered, demanding the immediate arrest of the perpetrators.
Protesters expressed frustration over the lack of significant progress from the police, even after a week had passed since the incident. Despite daily demonstrations, Pasni police have remained silent. The public emphasized that without fundamental changes within the police force, advancing the investigation seems unlikely.
The demonstrators called for the appointment of experienced officials, specifically an SHO and DSP, to restore law and order and ensure the capture of the criminals. They criticized the DPO of Gwadar for not showing adequate seriousness regarding this tragic event.
Furthermore, the protesters urged the IG of Balochistan and DIG Makran to take immediate action. They demanded the removal of the current SHO City and DSP Pasni and the initiation of investigations against them. Questions were raised about why these officials were assigned to such a sensitive area and how these circumstances arose under their watch.
The public pointed out that the only exit route from Pasni passes directly in front of the City Police Station, yet the police remain unaware of the killers’ whereabouts. They asserted that until the innocent Sahil Gulab’s murderers are apprehended and brought to justice, the incumbent police officers should be held accountable for this incident.
