Protests took place in Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands against grave human rights violations in Balochistan, including the arrests of Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Bebagr Baloch and other activists, the killings of Habib, Imdad and 12-year-old Neimat Baloch after Pakistani forces opened fire on peaceful demonstrators in Shaal (Quetta), and the 11-year-long enforced disappearance of BSO (Azad) leaders Zahid Baloch and Asad Baloch.
Demonstrators held placards and images of the victims, demanding an end to enforced disappearances and the immediate release of all political prisoners in Balochistan.
Speakers at the protests strongly condemned the Pakistani Army’s daily killings of innocent Baloch civilians and stated that enforced disappearances have devastated the region. Among the missing are prominent intellectuals, students, scientists, professors and human rights activists who played a crucial role in Balochistan’s political and academic progress.
BNM urged the International community and Global institutions to intervene and stand in solidarity with the Baloch nation’s struggle for freedom, ensuring justice and the liberation of Balochistan.
