Amnesty International South Asia has stated that more than 38 hours have passed since Mah Rang Baloch’s unlawful detention, yet she is being denied access to her lawyers and family.
In its statement, Amnesty also expressed concern over ongoing arbitrary arrests and detentions across Balochistan.
The organization has demanded that Pakistani authorities immediately release Mahrang Baloch and all others detained for exercising their right to peaceful protest and refrain from trapping Baloch activists in baseless cases to prolong their illegal detention.
