Balochistan: This statement released to media, The Baloch Liberation Army today announces the successful conclusion of Operation Dara-e-Bolan on March 18. This operation consisted of two parts, the first phase of which was completed in February 2024 with the capture of Mach city while the second phase began with the attack on the Jaffar Express in March 2025 and was completed after a week of intense battle. In this operation, the occupying Pakistani army suffered the biggest defeat in its history in Balochistan, where more than 354 personnel were eliminated over 100 were wounded and 214 personnel were taken hostage. Due to the enemy’s stubbornness and refusal to exchange prisoners of war all the hostages were executed.
The spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that, During this operation, 13 BLA freedom fighters were embraced martyrdom including six Fidayeen from the Majeed Brigade, four fighters from the Fateh Squad and three fighters from STOS. These martyrs by sacrificing their lives made it clear to the enemy that the Baloch national resistance is invincible, and that the occupying army will have to retreat from the Baloch motherland sooner or later. Among these martyrs was Sangat Beg Muhammad alias Tariq who was awarded the war title of “Sagaar-e-Baloch” by BLA in recognition of his exceptional battle services. This is the second-highest war honour of the organization.
Demonstrating its military prowess, combat skills and intelligence superiority Baloch Liberation Army targeted a convoy of eight Pakistani army buses in Noshki, except Bolan in a VBIED Fidayeen attack and ambushed the targets. More than 90 army personnel were eliminated, and dozens were wounded in this attack. Thus, in just one-week BLA eliminated over 354 enemy personnel and wounded more than 100 while also shooting down a drone reflecting the success of the Baloch resistance force against the enemy’s modern military technology.
He Further stated that, The operation began with an attack on the Jaffar Express on March 11 where BLA freedom fighters dealt a crushing blow to the enemy eliminating over 30 army, Frontier Corps and police personnel and capturing 214 military personnel. The arrested personnel included members from various regiments and units:
45 personnel from the 41st Division
56 personnel from the 17th Azad Kashmir Regiment
47 personnel from the EME Center
15 personnel from the 25th Baloch Regiment
26 personnel from the 6th Armoured Regiment
25 personnel from the Infantry School
Under the laws of BLA and international rules of war all these personnel were presented before the Baloch National Resistance Court where they were sentenced to death based on irrefutable evidence of their involvement in Baloch genocide, enforced disappearances and war crimes.
Baloch Liberation Army always considers international laws of war and human rights principles. Following these principles Senior Command Council of BLA, instead of immediately implementing the court decision against these prisoners offered the occupying army an exchange of prisoners of war. However, being fully aware of the enemy’s breach of promises, cunning nature and deceit, a 48-hour ultimatum was given.
Half of the arrested personnel were confined in the bogies of the Jaffar Express and handed over to the Fidayeen of the Majeed Brigade who were given clear instructions that if the enemy made any military advances the hostages should be executed and the attacking military commandos should be eliminated.
As expected, the enemy drunk with power took the path of aggression and instead of releasing the prisoners of war, launched a military operation. However, only five Fidayeen of the Majeed Brigade eliminated several highly trained Zarrar Company SSG commandos of the Pakistani army for two days. After eliminating dozens of enemy personnel when their last stock of bullets ran out, they embraced martyrdom with their last bullets, making it clear to the enemy that the Baloch resistance would continue under any circumstances.
Meanwhile, special units of BLA the Fateh Squad and STOS were able to divide the remaining prisoners of war into two groups and shift them to safe camps in the mountains. But when the occupying army chose military aggression over negotiations and attempted to attack BLA positions the prisoners of war were sentenced to death as per the decision of the Baloch National Resistance Court, following instructions from the Senior Command Council. The entire responsibility for this decision lies with the Pakistani army which despite having an opportunity they chose to pursue a path of war madness instead of releasing its personnel.
Fierce clashes with the occupying forces continued until March 17, in which the enemy suffered irreparable casualties and was ultimately forced to retreat from Bolan. In these clashes, seven freedom fighters were martyred while vigorously defending the areas under the control of the BLA. They sacrificed their lives to inflict severe damage on the enemy’s fighting force and delivered a humiliating defeat on the Balochistan front.
Having engaged the enemy in Bolan, BLA launched another decisive attack in Noshki. A convoy of eight buses carrying Pakistani Army personnel returning to their units after vacation was attacked by the Majeed Brigade with a VBIED. Immediately after the explosion the enemy personnel became unconscious, allowing the BLA’s Fateh Squad to ambush and neutralize all personnel in the second bus one by one. After this remaining six buses were ambushed by the freedom fighters, eliminating more than 90 additional personnel and wounding over 50.
The inside intelligence provided by the BLA’s intelligence wing “ZIRAB,” played an important role in this entire operation. After thoroughly analyzing the enemy’s movements, military plans and strategy, BLA took timely action which resulted in a complete shift in the balance of the battle and inflicted heavy losses on the occupying army.
the spokesperson said that, The Pakistani army is now resorting to lies, deceit and propaganda to cover up its historic defeat. After suffering a disastrous loss in Bolan Pass and Noshki where over 354 enemy personnel were eliminated more than a hundred were wounded, and dozens were taken as prisoners of war the enemy had no choice but to fabricate lies and cover up its own shame instead of admitting defeat. Pakistan’s state institutions, especially its propaganda arm ISPR as always are trying to blame external factors for their failures and are making the tired claim that BLA is backed by Afghanistan or India.
This is the same outdated accusation that Pakistan has always levelled against every resistance to its state terrorism. The fact is that BLA has become an invincible force on the strength of its own land, people and public support. Baloch resistance is a manifestation of the collective strength of the Baloch nation, which does not need any external help.
The relationship between Afghanistan and the Baloch nation is not a new reality but a historical, cultural and geographical one spanning thousands of years. The brotherly bond between Afghans and Balochs is not the result of a sudden political interest, but a living reality passed down through generations. Balochs and Afghans share ties of blood, culture and history that were not established by any external power and cannot be broken. Pakistan’s claim that BLA is supported by Afghanistan is in fact a blatant attempt to deny the historical existence of the Afghan-Baloch relationship. However, Pakistan has forgotten that historical facts cannot be erased by its propaganda.
BLA makes it clear in no uncertain terms, that we have no presence in Afghanistan, India or any other country. BLA operates on its own soil and organized among its own people and has evolved into an invincible national military force thanks to the unwavering participation of Baloch youth. Contrary to enemy propaganda, BLA is neither comprised of mercenaries nor beholden to foreign states. Our struggle is a manifestation of the aspirations of the Baloch people. Our movement grows through the sacrifices of Baloch youth and our strength emanates from the unwavering trust of the Baloch people.
If there is a hub of terrorism, it is not Afghanistan rather it is Pakistan. This is the state where the worst terrorist groups in the world roam freely. This is the country where ISIS, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba and dozens of other terrorist organizations are not only born but also nurtured under state patronage to spread terror across the world. Pakistan is the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism with documented evidence of its crimes in the UN, USA, EU and most independent media.
The occupying army is making another false claim to cover up its failure that BLA targeted civilians. This propaganda is as baseless as its claim that BLA is backed by external forces. BLA safely released all women, children, the elderly, the sick and civilians on the first day of the attack providing them with safe passage. This is undeniable evidence of BLA’s humanitarianism, adherence to high principles of war and respect for international law. All those arrested were military personnel returning to Punjab on leave after participating in the Baloch genocide. Their service cards fully identified them, proving that BLA did not target any civilians but only the occupying enemy army.
BLA’s struggle is not based on aggression but on the defense of its motherland. Pakistan imposed this war on Balochistan through military aggression and occupation while BLA fights solely for national defence. Our struggle is not driven by hatred but by love for our people and this love is the highest form of humanity.
The biggest challenge faced by the BLA during Operation Dara-e-Bolan was to prevent harm to civilians at all costs. If BLA’s goal had been merely to kill and destroy the entire train was under our control for hours along with the entire area and not even one would have survived. However, adhering to superior war strategies and humanitarian principles we ensured the complete protection of unarmed civilians.
Another tactic of the Pakistani army is to exaggerate BLA’s losses while concealing its own to avoid public ridicule. But we make it clear that martyrdom is our motto. The entire leadership of the BLA and every soldier is always ready for martyrdom. We honor our martyrs with profound pride and dignity, immortalizing their sacrifices through national remembrance in history. In contrast Pakistani army hides its dead burying them in unmarked graves so that the people do not learn the truth about its defeats and weaknesses.
Pakistani army is a mercenary force a continuation of the British imperialist army that occupied this region. Its personnel do not fight for ideology but for a salary. This is why they can never match the spirit, courage and resilience of the freedom fighters who are ready to make every sacrifice for the liberation of their motherland. The mercenaries and colonial forces of the Pakistani army can never compete with freedom fighters who embody the highest levels of consciousness and sacrifice.
Jeeyand Baloch said that, The Pakistani ISPR claims that the rules of war have changed. We are fully prepared to accept these changing rules with a smile and respond to the occupying army in its own language. But the truth is these rules have not been changed by the Pakistani army but by the BLA. BLA has proven that a professional, disciplined and national military force adhering to the principles of international warfare has now emerged on Baloch soil. This force will counter every tactic of the enemy and is preparing for the final battle.
Our message to the mothers of Punjab: do not let your children become fuel for the generals of the Pakistani army. Do not send them to die in Balochistan. You are not our enemy but if your children participate in the Baloch genocide you will only see their bodies. You will be shocked to know that the Pakistani army feels no pride but only shame over the deaths of your children that is why Pakistan hides the bodies of its personnel. If the people of Punjab do not want bloodshed, they must rise against this murderous army and demand accountability for the blood of their children.
In Operation Dara-e-Bolan, 13 freedom fighters of Baloch Liberation Army were embraced martyrdom including five Fidayeen (self-sacrificers) from the Majeed Brigade.
