Freedom fighters torched a Pakistani occupying forces’ checkpoint and a Ufone mobile tower in the Rakhni to Baikad area, on the Dera Bugti road near Ochdi, Barkhan district. Said Major Gwahram Baloch
Balochistan Liberation Front spokesperson, Major Gwahram said “On Saturday, September 21st, at 9 PM, the freedom fighters launched a heavy attack on the checkpoint, using heavy weapons and firing multiple rockets. The rockets landed inside the checkpoint, causing significant loss of life and property for the forces. The Ufone mobile tower, located 500 meters from the checkpoint, was completely destroyed, along with its solar panels and other equipment, which were set on fire.
He added, “After the attack, operatives of the puppet Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti’s death squad, operating under the so-called “Aman Force,” arrived at the scene and opened indiscriminate fire. However, following a successful operation, the freedom fighters, as per their strategic plan, safely reached to secure locations. Meanwhile, the state forces and their militia continue firing on civilian populations, using live fire and mortars.
The Pakistani state, caught in its arrogance with its modern machinery and massive army, seeks to suppress the Baloch people through violence and force, targeting civilian populations. However, the successful military strategies of the Baloch freedom fighters have brought the state’s forces to a point of moral and operational decline in Balochistan. The truth is that the freedom fighters have deeply rooted themselves within Baloch society and the hearts of the Baloch people, which is a key indicator of the Baloch Liberation Front’s (BLF) success.
The Balochistan Liberation Front claimed responsibility for these attacks and vows to continue its operations until the complete withdrawal of Pakistani forces from Balochistan.
