
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Two separate firing incidents in Balochistan have left one person dead and two others injured, according to police and local reports.
In Pasni, a coastal city in Gwadar district, armed men opened fire, injuring two people. Police said the injured were taken for medical treatment, and an investigation into the incident has been launched. Officials have not yet disclosed the identities of the wounded or a possible motive.
In a separate incident in Khudabadan, in Panjgur district, unidentified assailants opened fire and killed a Levies personnel member, identified as Peer Jan. Further details about the circumstances of the attack were not immediately available.
Police have not said whether the two incidents are linked. Security personnel have been deployed to the affected areas, and efforts are under way to identify and arrest those involved.
