QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) has claimed responsibility for attacks on two separate convoys of Pakistani forces in Kachhi, saying 10 personnel were killed.

In a statement issued by spokesperson Dostain Baloch on July 29, 2026, the group said clashes between its fighters and security forces continued from morning until evening, claiming ten forces personnel were killed on the spot and several others seriously injured.

According to the BRG statement, its fighters ambushed an FC convoy reportedly led by an officer Captain Umar travelling from Sibi to Sanni, in the area between Dhadar and Sanni in Kachhi. The group claimed the convoy was attacked at close range with automatic and heavy weapons, killing six personnel on the spot and wounding several others.

The statement further claimed that a second convoy attempting to advance in support was also ambushed by fighters positioned along the route, resulting in four more personnel killed and several wounded.

The BRG said forces later used helicopters to retrieve the bodies and wounded personnel. The group also said that security forces subsequently shelled the surrounding civilian population using helicopters and mortar fire, while its fighters withdrew safely to their positions.

The BRG said it was claiming responsibility for the attacks and that such operations would continue “until the complete independence of Balochistan.”
