MANGOCHAR, BALOCHISTAN: Over Twenty People Taken Into Custody by Pakistani Forces, Moved to Unknown Location

According to reports from Mangochar in Kalat, Pakistani forces carried out raids at various locations across the city, subjecting residents to violence during the operation.

According to reports, Pakistani forces took more than twenty citizens into custody during the operation and moved them to an unknown location, after which they have not resurfaced.

It is worth noting that yesterday, Pakistani forces took a woman along with three children into custody in Mustung, and they have since gone missing,.

Similarly, there are reports of operations in various areas of Mustung and Kalat, while in the Wadh area of Khuzdar, a citizen was killed as a result of shelling by Pakistani forces on a residential area. The victim’s family blocked the highway in protest against the shelling by the Pakistani army, with protesters demanding that a committee be formed to investigate why the Pakistani army shelled their homes.

The Balochistan government’s Home Department announced a curfew in Mustung’s Khudd Kocha sub-tehsil, effective from 8 p.m. until further orders. According to the notification, no person is permitted to leave their home during the curfew period, and anyone found violating the order will be shot on sight.

The public and human rights organizations have rejected the curfew and urged the government to lift it.
