Kharan: Armed Men Attack Crush and Tarmac Plants, Set Machinery on Fire

In Kharan city, Balochistan, unidentified armed men attacked the crush and tarmac (asphalt) plants belonging to contractor Abdul Latif Notezai, setting machinery on fire and also taking away a vehicle.

According to sources, the attack took place at the crush and tarmac plants of contractor Abdul Latif Notezai, located at Bab Kharan in Kharan city.

The plant machinery and vehicles present at the site were set ablaze, while the unidentified armed men also planted an IED (improvised explosive device) at the plant.

After the attack, the unidentified armed men took a vehicle from the site and fled the scene. Police and security forces subsequently cordoned off the area, reached the location, defused the bomb, and launched further investigation.

It is worth noting that contractor Abdul Latif Notezai’s government and private projects and plants have previously been targeted in multiple attacks by unidentified armed men as well.
