QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The body of a man identified as Nazir Ahmed, son of Ali Muhammad from Kukkan, Turbat, was recovered from a deserted area in Dun Sar Shehrak, Kech.
Initial investigations reveal gunshot wounds on his head. Nazir Ahmed had reportedly gone missing five days prior, though there has been no official confirmation of his abduction. Police have taken custody of the body and started investigations.
Separately, a mutilated body discovered yesterday in Panjgur has been identified as that of Habibullah, son of Ahmad, a young man who went missing on September 24, 2025, while working in his fields. The discovery has added to the growing concern over the rising incidents of violence and disappearances in Balochistan.
These incidents come amid a series of violent events reported in recent weeks across Kech, Panjgur, and other districts of Balochistan. Over the past two days, two other bodies have been found in various parts of Turbat, heightening public anxiety and calls for enhanced security and justice.
