
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks across Balochistan resulting in the deaths of 11 military personnel. The group also seized a police checkpoint, confiscated weapons, and killed a state agent.
According to the spokesman Major Gwaharam Baloch, On June 4, BLF fighters raided the Hor area of Kuntani in Gwadar, detaining four police officers involved in extortion. During the operation, they seized a Kalashnikov rifle, its magazine, and a vehicle.
Earlier, on June 3, BLF militants attacked a Pakistani Army and Military Intelligence (MI) office in Mand’s Suro area by firing multiple grenades, causing casualties and damage. The same day, an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted a military convoy in Buleda’s Mainaz area, killing four soldiers and destroying the vehicle.

On June 2, BLF fighters attacked a security forces vehicle protecting mineral transport trucks linked to the Reko Diq project in Nushki using an IED. The attack killed two security personnel and injured two others. Following the attack, state forces conducted raids on nearby villages, reportedly committing violence against civilians and damaging property.
On May 31, BLF militants targeted a Frontier Corps vehicle with an IED attack at Dam Bazaar on the CPEC road in Shahrak, Kech, killing five personnel and injuring three. That day, they also seized a police checkpoint in Gwadar’s Pishukan area, confiscating two Kalashnikov rifles and other military equipment before releasing the detained police officers on humanitarian grounds.

In a separate operation on May 27, BLF fighters set up a roadblock in the Kuncheti area of Dasht Kech and detained Attaullah, a state agent involved in spying and other crimes. After interrogation, Attaullah admitted to his involvement in espionage and named other collaborators. Despite multiple warnings from the BLF, he continued his activities until he was killed by BLF fighters on May 30 in Dasht Khudan.
