
QUETTA: Armed individuals targeted a Pakistani forces camp in Kech district and disarmed four police personnel in Khuzdar district in two separate incidents reported across Balochistan, sources confirmed.
According to sources, the first incident occurred on Thursday evening in the Balichah area of Tump tehsil in Kech, where armed individuals targeted the main camp of Pakistani forces. Local residents reported hearing several powerful explosions in succession, followed by an intense exchange of fire between the forces and the attackers. No immediate confirmation of casualties or material damage has been possible at this stage.
In a separate incident in the Baghbana area of Khuzdar district, armed individuals established a blockade and detained four police personnel who were on duty. The armed individuals seized the official weapons of all four officers before releasing them safely.
No group has claimed responsibility for either incident. Pakistani authorities have not issued any official statement regarding the attacks.
