According to a detailed statement released by Jaish al-Adal, the attacks, which took place on Wednesday, April 5th, resulted in casualties among Iranian forces, with over 200 military personnel reportedly killed. The group also acknowledged the loss of 18 of its own members during the operations.
The coordinated assaults targeted key locations simultaneously, including the Admiral Headquarters, the Intelligence Department, and Police Station 11 on Khomeini Street in Chabahar. Additionally, in the city of Raask, an important base of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) situated at the Raask district and the Parud Chowk, remained under the control of Jaish al-Adal forces for several hours, with assistant forces reportedly participating in the attacks.
Jaish al-Adal stated that the objective of the extensive operation was to disrupt certain regional development projects, particularly those associated with the “Makran Coastal Development” plan, which they claim undermines the interests of the Baloch people. They have warned the Iranian government against further escalating tensions in Balochistan and urged local Muslim communities not to support the government’s agenda.
Furthermore, Jaish al-Adal emphasized that their actions are aimed solely at oppressive elements within the government, in accordance with Islamic principles and international laws.
They urged military and security personnel to consider resigning from their positions to avoid any harm to their physical and mental well-being, urging them to seek dignified employment opportunities elsewhere.
