
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The Meteorological Department has forecast dry and hot weather conditions across most districts of Balochistan, with temperatures recorded at varying levels throughout the Balochistan.
According to the Met Department, Sibbi recorded the highest temperature at 46°C, followed by Turbat at 41°C and Nokundi at 42°C, indicating extreme heat in the southern and southwestern regions of the province.
In central Balochistan, Quetta recorded 34°C while Qalat stood at 31°C. Chaman recorded 35°C and Zhob in northern Balochistan reached 36°C.
The cooler areas included Ziarat, which recorded the lowest temperature in the province at 26°C, offering some relief from the prevailing heat.
Along the coastal belt, both Gwadar and Jiwani recorded 33°C, with dry conditions expected to persist in the area.
The Meteorological Department has advised residents to take precautions against the ongoing heatwave, particularly in Sibbi, Turbat, and Nokundi where temperatures remain dangerously high.
